How are you telling your story?
• In ways that are really “you?” • In ways that showcase your uniqueness? • In ways that attract attention and customers? Here’s how we can help:
• Promotion and PR
• Community outreach • Event planning • Marketing materials (writing, design) • Fundraising materials • Book publishing (books, ebooks) • Displays • Business histories
• Seminar development
Behind it all?
Good research, writing, graphic design, and planning!
We also do:
• Grant writing • Interim management of nonprofits • Public speaking to motivate your staff and/or board
• Training in public speaking and fundraising pitches
A word about “History.”
When I added the word “History” to my company name it was simply to reflect the historical nature of the communities we serve. “History” can be an effective tool to accomplish what I’ve listed above, but we also do plenty of work that has nothing to do with it!
But one of the things we do best is play “match maker” between you and your historical community in ways that make both sides win.
• Where are the opportunities for you? • What are you interested in?
• Where can you have a real impact that will also attract attention from the right people?
Let’s talk, and thanks for stopping by!

Testimonials – and there are more here!
“When I knew my company was going to celebrate its 100th anniversary, I wanted to do something lasting and meaningful. I contacted Bonnie at History Smiths because I knew she had the ability and reputation to do the historical research on my family-owned business, and the marketing skills to create a brochure, display, and media materials. My existing customers were delighted, and I attracted new clients because of the attention we received.” –Paul K. Soucy, Soucy Insurance Agency, Inc., Salem, MA “Bonnie brings knowledge, people skills, a cooperating persona and deep technical competence to her projects … the 375th was a much better celebration for melding Bonnie’s ideas into the year long program in 2009.”
–Nat Pulsifer, Chair, Ipswich, MA 375th Anniversary Celebration “Bonnie, thanks so much for an inspiring talk. You really gave our members something to think about.”
–Bill Sargent, Rotary Club of Ipswich, MA “It’s been a pleasure to have Bonnie speak at the Boston Public Library. Her presentations are excellent, her enthusiasm contagious, and her humor appreciated. Bonnie made it easy for the library to have a popular program with minimum fuss.”
